The purpose of this organization
shall be to foster the highest standards of
excellence in the practice of the art of
embroidery through an active program of
education and study and to preserve the heritage
of the art of embroidery.
Membership in
St. Paul Needleworkers is open to all embroiderers - beginners,
advanced, amateur, or professional.
St.
Paul Needleworkers is a member chapter of
Heartland Region of The Embroiderers' Guild of
America (EGA).
Dues are $46.00
per year, which includes $32.00 for membership
in The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. and
a subscription to the quarterly magazine,
Needlearts, $2.00 for Heartland Region dues,
and $12.00 for St. Paul Needleworkers chapter.
Our
newsletter, Needle News is published six
times per year, in January, March, May, July,
September, and November, by the St. Paul
Needleworkers (SPN). Paper and electronic
versions are available.
Meetings
are held at 9:30 a.m. on the first Tuesday of
each month and at 7:00 p.m. on the third Monday
of each month at Resurrection Lutheran Church,
910 West County Road D (at Victoria), Roseville.
Board meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. before the
monthly evening meetings.
Guests are
welcome at all meetings and may attend one time
at no cost other than the kit fee for that
meeting, should they choose to stitch the
scheduled program. Guests need not sign up
for the program to attend the meeting.
